Your login ID is your email address – if you need your password set or reset, please contact otlhelpdesk@mtec.edu

Fill out a course request! You will need to fill out a course request form for each new course that you need – here is the link: https://otl.mtec.edu/knowledge-base/request-a-new-canvas-course/

Usually within a few days. We recommend submitting course requests at least a week before the course start date.

Double check and make sure you are adding them via Login ID instead of email address – and just put in their email address in the login ID box, all login IDs on canvas are the users Mtech email.

Isolved and bridge are both tied in accounts together – so you will need to contact HR, as they can help you login to those accounts.

I create canvas accounts when I get the email from HR and technology that a new employee has been hired – and when I get that email I will create an account for them that same day. If it still hasn’t been created, please contact me: johnathan.vargas@mtec.edu

If this is an urgent issue, please make sure the student is using canvas on a laptop on the google chrome browser that is up to date. If they are up to date, contact the canvas support hotline, or contact me.

Go to People -> Then select “+ People” and select Add users by Login ID (you must do it via Login ID, as only Login ID will work for people that don’t have their emails verified on canvas) and then put in their MTECH email address and select add.

Select “Settings” and then you should be able to edit the course name via the Name: column, then select “Update Course Details” at the bottom. However, if you don’t have that option, that means you don’t have the permissions to rename courses. Contact me at otlhelpdesk@mtec.edu and tell me what you’d like your new course title to be.
